Inherited Traits
When her visitors gathered around to see her, the most frequent compliment we heard was about how "high" her nose is... apparently a huge asset for any Filipino.  The actual shape of her nose resembles Jennye, but the high bridge of her nose is from Bryan.

Her skin is fair, inherited from Lola Tessie's side of the family, the Ocampos.  That was a relief.  Lolo Rolly and Auntie Joy are pretty dark.

She has her daddy's "chinky" eyes, down to the exact shape.  In fact, now when I look at Bryan, I see Katelyn looking back at me! It's uncanny, really!

The shape of her mouth is exactly like mommy's, passed down from the Rosetes.  She's got a scream that seems to come from someone much bigger than she, so I'm pretty confident that she'll be as loud as me, too!  That's an Ocampo trait, for sure.

And our favorite, favorite thing!  She inherited Bryan's dimples, passed down from Lola Esmi!  When Katelyn smiles, two deep dimples appear on her cheeks and make her look even more adorable!  We tickle and aggravate her just to be able to see them.

Things that Add Character!
It was Lola Tessie that first brought to my attention how exceptionally long her fingers are.  I couldn't help beaming with pride.  Long fingers surely contribute to musical prowess!  I can already see it... my little Katelyn Rose, pianist extraordinaire!

Funny thing is, she's got long toes to match those long fingers!

She sleeps with her mouth wide open.  Definitely Rosete.  Specifically Lolo Romy.  Uncle Ryan, Auntie Leslie, and Jennye also sleep in this same atrocious manner.

She's got two really weird ear tags on her left ear that we'll have removed as soon as she's old enough.  Not sure which side of the family those came from but... I blame the Baysas.  If you've ever seen Pastor Baysa's and Bryan's so-called "lucky hairs," you'd understand.
